Hi there! My name is Steve Stensrud. I graduated from Capitol School of Hairstyling in 1977 under the mentorship of Lyal McCaig. From there, I worked at various top salons in Omaha, most notably with Tommy Coppi at The Factory for 15 years. In 1994, I opened Stephen’s Hair Studio, and I worked as a trainer/educator for L’Oreal Professionnel in many of the finest salons in the United States for 15 weekends a year for 14 years. I have also trained extensively with Jacques Dessange, Toni & Guy, and many other world-renowned hairdressing salons and academies. In 2016, I opened my private suite at Avalon II.
